Health Fair June 18

The Midway MB Church Health Fair will take place on June 18, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Some of our guests will be, Dr. James Lock, from the East Central Clinic in Walnut Grove. He is an internal medicine specialist and certified hypertension (nephrology) specialist with over 33 years of experience, along with his nurse Chocka. Some nurses from the Sebastopol clinic will be there to check blood pressure, blood sugar and answer questions about health care.

Dr. Foluso Fakorede CEO of Cardiovascular Solutions of Central MS with offices in Clarksdale and Cleveland, MS. He is an expert in preventive management of cardiovascular disease, women’s heart health, and catheter-based procedures in coronary atherosclerosis. He will be there to explain interventional care for blood clots in your circulatory system. He specializes in amputation prevention for people with type 2 diabetes.

Dr. Stephen F. Davidson, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with specific interests in minor and complicated breast reconstruction. His office is located at the Plastic Hand and Surgery Center in Jackson, MS. He will be there to detail plastic surgery and what one can do to improve their appearance and well-being.

Sympathy to the Parrett family for the passing of Mrs. Clotte Parrett. His life was honored on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at St. Peter MB Church. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Evans Memorial Funeral Home made the arrangements.

Sympathy to the Evans family on the passing of Ella Evans of Newton. His service was held last Saturday at Union Chapel Church, Lawrence, MS. His burial took place in the church cemetery. Mapp Funeral Home is in charge of its arrangements.
