Dr Pinki Pargal promoted to HoD Plastic Surgery

Excelsior JAMMU Correspondent, October 17: Dr Pinki Pargal, daughter of the soil, has been promoted to Head of Department (HoD) of Plastic Surgery at CMC Ludhiana.  Dr Pinki Pargal daughter of Chaman Lal Pargal from Gandhi Nagar did her MBBS and MS (Surgery) from GMC Jammu.  She did her M.Ch (plastic surgery) from CMC Ludhiana and after completing her course she joined as an assistant professor.  Recently, she was promoted to professor in the department of plastic surgery.  Now she has been promoted as HoD Plastic Surgery at CMC Ludhiana.  Dr. Pinki has expertise in microvascular surgeries, burns, cosmetic surgery, birth defects such as cleft lip and palate patients, craniofacial injuries, hand injuries, and head and neck trauma.  It is relevant to mention that very few institutions have the capacity to treat such conditions and that Christian Medical College & Hospital is a pioneer in microvascular surgeries.
